How long do hair extension last for??

it depends on what kind of extensions you get. if they are salon kind then they should last about 3 months. I would be very careful shampooing them, just dont scrub the part where they glue them in! But why spend your whole wallet when Ken Paves makes the extensions that you can take out and put in really easily! I love them and the look awesome!

I have had all types of extensions, but the best I have found are the REMY glueless extensions - they are real hair and are attached to a small metal ring with a thin plastic loop attached you simply take a section of your hair, pull it through the loop, then pull down on the plastic loop (this pulls your hair through the metal ring like a large needle-threader) the plastic loop is discarded and you squeeze the metal ring tight against your hair, flat to your scalp.with a tool similar to a pair of pliers. It sounds complicated but it is REALLY simple. My husband put mine in! as your hair grows you can use the tool to loosen the rings and re-tighten them. Any that do come out can be re-threaded onto the loops and re-used. I had theM in for 18 months!! and they dont damage your hair. You can order them on ebay from ebay seller olarules her ebay shop is myhairlady3 she is really helpful and will send you samples if you are unsure of what shades, lengths etc you want. if you have any further questions just ask. I can send pics and tell you how to look after them. I really think, they are the most natural looking, easy and cost-effective extensions you can buy!

If u do them profesionaly they will definitely NOT come out in the shower, it depends on how much swimming u do and stuff, if u dnt do alot of swimming they will last around half a year or so, but with swimming they can weaken them a bit..

They just use a special type of glue and stick the hair to your head, it will feel weird at first, especially if ur doing a full head extension, but otherwise it will be ok... Your hair will just go back to normal after it,.. well it will be normal anyway.. lol.
