I had hair extensions put in 3 weeks ago, and she was horrible, she left me with a half done job, &a

everytime i called her to reschedule, it took 3 exuses later to do it. By that time thet had ALL slipped out, ( fusion ), and i had a few globs of that glue stuck in my head which she made me take off myself. Ouch, not to mention it ripped my hair. Then she decided to start over anfd just glue the weft on my head??? That started coming out later that night. She tried sying it wasnt holding because my hair is stresses, which it isnt, I AM! A month of my life ha been ruined! I just have really thick hair, and the bond did attach to my hair, NOT THE EXTENSION.

I asked her to see a certificate of some short verifying she took a course on how to properly put them in, and she got an attitude, and said she doesnt want to deal with me anymore??? After paying $800.??? And she never finished the service? i have no hair put in...

Please tell me i can maybe take her into a small claims court or some sort of place to get my money back? I called other places, and they dont charge nearly that much

Sounds like you have an excellent case. Try to get some pics of your hair and try to keep some of the extensions that fell out. Sue her ***!

Sounds like she shouldn't be doing extensions and you are entitled to your money back.

Next time, shop around for prices and do your research before letting just anyone do your hair. Good luck!

Stylists are able to put in extensions by bonding (gluing) or sewing without a certificate. However, in order to be able to put them in by fusion, you have to be certified (at least in Ohio) because you are putting a heat gun directly onto the hair. I don't know about legal issues, but I do know about hair styling and extensions. I do them a lot. Next time you decide to get them put in, ask them to sew them in. There are so many advantages and as long as they don't sew too tight, there aren't really many disadvantages. With glued or fused extensions you have to use certain type of shampoo and you have to be careful about getting conditioner close to where it is attached because the oil in the conditioner will dissolve the glue. When they are sewn, you can wash them, condition them, tug on them they won't come out, and you can leave them in longer. The maintenance isn't as frequent. Sewing usually costs more than bonding because it's more time consuming, but it's not as much as fusion. That's my advice. Sorry I'm no help on the legal matter!
