Glued in hair extension care!!????

Fusion extensions, such as you have, can be cared for in the same way that you care for your regular hair with the following considerations:

Be careful about using heat on the connections when drying %26amp; styling because heat softens the glue and can weaken the bond or, as I heard from one friend, fuse a bunch of them together.

For the same reason and to prevent tangling, shampoo with tepid rather than hot or cold water. You can shampoo as often as you normally do.

Oils also soften the bond so its best to be careful about getting a lot of conditioner or oil based styling products on the connections.

Your natural hair should be able to grow just fine as long as there's not a lot of tension pulling against your scalp which could lead to breakage. If your stylist did a decent job of application you should be fine, though I would suggest a satin cap at night to prevent pulling as you sleep, especially if you toss and turn.

Enjoy!
