Hair extensions aren't something you want to play around with. Clip ins aren't really harmful, but if you went far enough to get them bonded or sewn in, doing it the wrong way can damage your hair. It's best to ask someone for a referral who has extensions. That way you'll know that the person has experience and has done a good job in the past, so you're hair will come out looking it's best. They are pretty expensive, but it's worth it. If all you want to do is buy a few clips of colored hair and put them in, then that is something you may be able to do by yourself. BUT as always, it's better to have professional help.

i wouldn't do it yourself most of the time they fall out and just look not so great. what i would do is go to a hair salon and let them do the dirty work. and one more thing do not get singles because those look extremely fake! its just not worth it unless you get it a good job done
