i had some glue in extensions in and i cant get it out i have had them out for 3 weeks now and have been using special shampoo to wash it out but its not working and its really sticky. u cant see if because its underneath but its itching and gettin on my nerves. i want to get my hair coploured and cant until its all out! help!!

Wet your hair, use a very good conditioner and saturate your hair with it ver well, then place a plastic cap over your head and sit under the dryer for 10-15 minutes, then comb through the hair with a small tooth comb slowly and carefully not to pull any of your hair out. You may experience some shedding, but that is normal.

You can try mineral oil , hair extension remover , dishwashing liquid and/or baby oil, all of which you should leave in for awhile (let it sit on your head),then take a fine toothed comb and gently comb through your hair .....be patient , this will take awhile !! Good luck, I've been there !!!

I would dab a mineral oil on the hair shaft and start to work the glue bits down the hair shaft. Work in very small sections and be patient. If there is glue on your scalp you also apply this oil on the scalp and carefully work the pointy end of a rat- tail comb between the extension and the scalp area. This will loosten up the piece so that it can also slide down the shaft. You will need to use a Clarifying shampoo to remove the oil from your hair. Use oil sparingly.
