What Does That "Extension Hair" Glue Do To Your Hair?

Besides stick on

extensions to your hair...?

If you are gluing extensions in your hair, first you can't have any oils in your hair or the glue wont stick. To take it out you have to basically drench it in oil to get it out. The removers they sell in the stores don't work. the only thing that I have found that works is baby oil and it removes all the residue.

I used glue for about 3 months and my natural hair didn't grow at all, and it thinned out my hair. I would not do it myself...

Having extensions bonded to your hair by glue may make your scalp and head rather itchy. Even when you use the oil formulated for removing the glue, residue is left behind. If you run your fingers through your hair afterwards, it may not feel too pleasant. Also, taking a shower or washing your hair will loosen the extensions but the glue will remain on your hair/scalp. Those with common sense know that you can't just yank out the extensions without something to help dissolve the adhesive. That would be similar to ripping off acrylic nails.
