Expect to spend 500-1000 dollars. They hurt, they itch, and they damage your hair. Look into the clip in hair extentions. Hair U Wear or the Jessica simpon ones. I got mine from Sally Beauty supply and honestly you cant even tell ! no one knows. and i can take them out as i please. seriously look into them! a friend of mine got extentions and spent 700 on them and she took them out a week later becasue they bothered her and she looked really bad with longer hair

U dont have to get a sew in hair weave or glue. Since u want a long ponytail get a clip on ponytail at one of ur local hair shops. And sometimes they sell it in walmart, but its always better at a hair shop.

Jessica simpson developed a line that your hairstylist can put in for you. You cant really get heat-in strips of hair put at the back because it will look stupid with random strips of long hair at the back. Plus they hurt, itch and you cant brush through them without snagging. Your best option is to put your hair in a pony tail and straighten just the pony tail with a hot iron, my hair always looks longer after that because your not only pulling the pony tail tighter but your getting all the little waves out. You know you have mid-length hair and so does everyone else. No ones hair stays the same length when its up. If you dont like it, wear your hair in a messy bun.

Ok i dont think you should get one because when you get them they itch and they have to sew them onto your head it doesnt matter what your hair looks like its whats on the inside that counts. but if you want to go ahead but i warn you that it will itch and hurt

why not get a drawstring ponytail? ur local hair supply or beauty store should have them, they are easy to put in but i wouldn't wear then 24/7 cause they little comb that is used to attach to you hair cand damage you hair if its in too long or too tight.u just put the comb in and pull the draw sting and the tuck the drawstring in to hide it. the peole at the store probaly can show u better then i can tell u.
